Different Ideas

The New Year didn't feel like it began well for me. As I came back to school, I felt overwhelmed by the continuation of the pressures I had pretended to leave behind over the winter break. I was always tired and the sudden increase in stimuli from my environment was not helping anything. I felt constantly on edge for around a week before I felt able to be productive again.
In this mindset, I wanted nothing to do with my passion project, and kind of gave up even thinking about it. However, I have been getting my balance back and I recently had a meeting with my mentor to really help me find a direction in which I can take this project.
We brainstormed a few ideas, including some ideas of going to the elementary school, where I could talk to the elementary students about music or even play them music with some other high school students and survey how the kids felt. Another direction could possibly be finding a nursing home in which I and a couple of student volunteers could play music for the residents, but I think that I'm leaning more towards the elementary school idea.
We also talked about creating a survey for high school students that would give me an insight into how teenagers interact with music. This survey could have questions about what music students listen when they feel happy, sad, tired, etc. There could also be questions where a piece of music is given, and the student could give their response.
These ideas are giving me a new framework to base my project off of, and I think I might have more to do with concrete objectives.
