In order to memorize my talk, I said it over and over again to get more comfortable with it. I practiced before school, at concerts, in the shower, in line for roller coasters, you name it. It was important to me to feel comfortable with my talk both because I wanted to the audience to be comfortable listening to me, and so I could be confident in presenting it. My friends and family were able to give me feedback and critiques to help me improve my deliverance and get comfortable giving my talk to other people.

I also practiced a lot in my DigCit class. We all had the opportunity to present multiple times on stage with a microphone, which really helped me. Hearing myself talk in the speakers was a little unnerving, so I'm glad I got to practice with the mic multiple times.

Through all of this work, at the end of our preparation period I felt prepared to present and I was confident I could remember it all start to finish.
